Jamaica Hotels with a Water Park

Many Jamaican Resorts and Hotels welcome visitors of all ages, but some of these resorts are designed primarily to entertain families with children and teenagers.

As Jamaica is a tropical island with an average temperature of 80 degrees, nothing is more refreshing, while still being entertaining than a water park.

Here’s a look at Jamaica’s top hotels and resorts that have a water park:

Jewel Runaway Bay Beach & Golf Resort

The all-inclusive family resort, Jewel Runaway Bay Beach & Golf Resort, offers plenty of opportunities for down time while relaxing by one of the three pools, or catching a tan on the beach.

However, the highlight of this resort is the high number of amazing activities available to guests, of which most are included in your rate. From golfing and kayaking to laser tag and the dramatic water park, there is something to suit everyone’s desires.

This resort is located in an out of the way location, making it ideal for those who want to enjoy their holiday without leaving the resort.

Beaches Negril Resort & Spa

As soon as you arrive at Beaches Negril, you will instantly feel the laid back atmosphere that is utterly infectious. It is easy to understand why this is one of the most loved resorts in Negril, located on the widest part of the white sands and crystal clear waters along Negril’s famous Seven Mile Beach.

This all-inclusive resort is taken to the next level with a fun and invigorating Water Park, which is perfect for both kids and adults to have some fun in the Jamaican sun. After you have had your fill of the slides, you can relish in a light lunch or fresh cocktail from one of the restaurants and bars.

Sunscape Cove/Splash Montego Bay

Conveniently located just 15 minutes from the airport, Sunscape Cove and Splash are all-inclusive beachfront resorts; Sunscape Cove being the upscale sister to Sunscape Splash.

The two resorts share many of their amenities, including four swimming pools, a fitness centre, five restaurants, great WIFI, and a state-of-the-art water park.

The water park has a castle, multiple slides and tunnels, and of course, stunning pools. The calm, boutique ambiance is welcomed at Sunscape Cove, which is in contrast to the more fast paced Sunscape Splash. The choice between the two comes down to personal preference.

Iberostar Rose Hall Suites

Family-friendly fun is the name of the game at the 5 star Iberostar Rose Hall Suites. Not only do they have affordable rates, all-inclusive meals, and a video game centre, they have a fantastic colorful pirate ship-shaped water park.

One of the things that make this water park even more fun is the giant water bucket that is located above the ships slides, which fills up and spills over onto the children below, cooling them off with a delightful splash of water. Also including live entertainment, premium cocktails, and exceptional cuisine, this is a perfect resort for both kids and adults.

Hilton Rose Hall Resort & Spa

Located just 15 minutes from Montego Bay’s Hip Strip, the hub for eating, dancing, drinking, and shopping, the Hilton Rose Hall Resort & Spa, is a top quality all-inclusive family hotel.

This resort features amazing amenities, including a spa, a pristine private beach, and many adult and child-friendly activities. However, the thing that truly distinguishes this resort from other resorts is that it has Jamaica’s largest water park, the Sugar Mill Falls Water Park. Although this resort does not have any attractions within walking distance, the amenities at the resort will keep you busy for hours, and if you want to venture further, the hotel has a free shuttle service.

Beaches Ocho Rios Resort & Golf Club

Considered the most child-friendly resort in Jamaica, Beaches Ocho Rios Resort & Golf Club is all-inclusive and offers fantastic entertainment options for kids and adults. Located on 22 acres of lush tropical gardens, the 223-roomed Beaches Ocho Rios Resort boasts stunning white sand beaches, three amazing swimming pools, seven fine dining restaurants, and fun slides and tubes at the water park.

Adults can also enjoy the golf course, and the peace and quiet of the adults-only piano bar.

While enjoying your holiday in Jamaica, be sure to take a slide down one of the water park tubes, because most of these are not just for kids. And if you have your children with you, the water parks are a great way to make magical summer memories with them.
