Iberostar Selection Rose Hall Suites is the family member of the three Iberostar resorts on the Rose Hall coast, east of Montego Bay. My take: it suits families who want a roomy suite, a kids’ club and a short drive from the airport. If you’re traveling without children, the adults-only JOIA Rose Hall next door is the better fit once it reopens after its renovation, which Iberostar says will be on Dec 1, 2026. Until then, look at Excellence Oyster Bay.

All rooms are suites. The 570 sq ft junior suites come with garden, pool or ocean views, a king bed or two doubles, a sofa bed, a minibar and a balcony or terrace. Family suites of 1,140 sq ft have connecting rooms and extras for children such as a games console.
Food & drink
Iberostar lists seven restaurants and six bars on the all-inclusive plan. They include Sole Mio (Italian), Mare Nostrum (a Greek taverna), Tsuki (Asian), Aunt Ruby (a Caribbean grill using local ingredients) and Uncle Tony’s buffet and rotisserie. Starcafé is open 24 hours, and Sunset Bay is the swim-up bar.
