Grand Palladium sits on its own at Point Lucea in Hanover, with sister hotel Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton next door. Between the two you get ten restaurants and 21 bars, big pools, a children’s water park and kids’ and teen clubs. My take: it suits families who want everything inside the resort and plenty of choice at mealtimes. Couples can book the adults-only private-pool suites for a quieter corner. If you want to walk into a town in the evening, there isn’t one on the doorstep.

Palladium lists three buffet restaurants with show cooking and seven à la carte restaurants, plus 21 bars. Because guests can also use Lady Hamilton’s restaurants and bars, mealtimes rarely feel repetitive.
Pool & beach
The resort is on the beach with direct access to the sand. It has big pools, including what Palladium calls one of Jamaica’s largest, with water volleyball and basketball, plus a children’s water park. Included sports cover kayaking, snorkeling, windsurfing and catamaran sailing.
