My local take
Lady Hamilton is one of two hotels in the Grand Palladium complex at Point Lucea, Hanover, about 40 minutes west of Montego Bay airport. The other is Grand Palladium Jamaica. They work as one resort: guests of either hotel share the ten restaurants, 21 bars, the big main pool, the children’s water park and the kids’ clubs. What Lady Hamilton adds is rooms that start at junior-suite size, and The Signature Level, an upgrade with its own pool, a private patch of Coral Beach and a lounge.
My take: it suits families and groups who want space in the room and a different restaurant every night, without leaving the gate. Pick Lady Hamilton over its sister if you want a suite, or the Signature Level’s quieter pool. Pick Grand Palladium Jamaica if you want its adults-only private-pool suites. Either way, you’re out of town, so plan on taxis or tours to see anything beyond the resort.
If it’s not quite right, look at Royalton Blue Waters, a mid-sized family all-inclusive with a water park east of Montego Bay, or Iberostar Rose Hall Suites, an all-suite family resort closer to the airport. More options: the best all-inclusive family resorts in Jamaica.

Rooms
Palladium lists 517 rooms and 13 villas. The standard room is a junior suite of about 53 m², with a king or two beds plus a sofa bed, sleeping up to three adults and a child; Palladium’s ocean-view junior suite comes with a hot tub on a furnished terrace. Suites are about 70 m² with a separate living room, and the 123 m² Connecting Suite sleeps up to six adults and two children. The Signature Level covers 156 rooms, including 48 bungalows for two adults, with turndown service, a premium minibar, L’Occitane toiletries and early check-in or late check-out when available.
Food & drink
Across the complex there are three buffet restaurants with show cooking, seven à la carte restaurants and 21 bars, shared with Grand Palladium Jamaica. Lady Hamilton’s own list includes Portofino (Italian), Bhogali (Indian), Sumptuori (Japanese), El Dorado (steakhouse), Xaymaica (Latin), Poseidon (seafood) and the buffets, plus a jerk chicken and pork grill. À la carte bookings can only be made after check-in, and Palladium’s restaurant list marks several of them, including Sumptuori and El Dorado, as not open to children, so check the rules at the guest service desk. Room service costs extra.
Pool & beach
The complex has one main pool, which Palladium calls one of Jamaica’s largest, with a bar in the pool, games and parties, plus a children’s water park with slides. Signature Level guests also get the Coral Pool with waiter service. There are three beaches inside the complex: Las Brisas, Playa Coral and Sunset Cove. Kayaking, snorkeling, windsurfing and catamaran sailing are included; scuba diving and fishing cost extra. The Zentropia spa’s wet areas are for guests 16 and over.
Location
Lady Hamilton is at Point Lucea in Hanover, about 40 minutes (32 km) west of Sangster International in Montego Bay. Lucea town is the nearest town; Montego Bay is a drive east, and Negril is further west along the coast, so day trips to Seven Mile Beach and Rick’s Café are easy to arrange through the resort’s tour desk.
Palladium broke ground in February 2025 on an expansion of the complex that would add 948 rooms and bring its adults-only TRS brand and a Family Selection program to Jamaica, according to Travel Market Report. In July 2026 the Gleaner reported that this Phase II was still undergoing government approvals. Palladium hasn’t announced an opening date, so book on what’s there now.
