My local take
Ocean Coral Spring is the family half of H10’s pair at Coral Spring, on the quiet Trelawny coast between Montego Bay and Falmouth. It’s big, with 513 suites, and it’s built so you never need to leave: a water park, a lazy river, a bowling alley, a theater and ten places to eat. My take: it suits families, and groups of friends, who want plenty of choice on site. If you want a small resort, or to walk out the gate to a bar or a cookshop, this isn’t it.
The neighbor matters. The adults-only Ocean Eden Bay shares the same stretch of coast, and H10 says its guests have full access to Coral Spring’s restaurants, bars and facilities. So expect couples from next door at the lazy river and the bowling alley. To use Eden Bay’s adults-only areas from Coral Spring, book the Junior Suite with Eden Bay adults-only access.
If it’s not quite right, look at Royalton Blue Waters, a mid-sized family resort with a water park and lazy river at Mountain Spring, on the same coast, or Riu Aquarelle, a newer family Riu near Falmouth with two-bedroom family rooms. More options: the best all-inclusive family resorts in Jamaica.

What stands out
- A buffet and eight other restaurants and grills open to all guests, including Indian, teppanyaki, Italian and a beachside jerk grill; most need no reservation.
- A water park, a family pool and a lazy river with waterfalls keep children and adults busy.
- Daisy Club for ages 4 to 12 and a separate Teen Club for 13 to 17.
- Every room is a suite, and room service is included from 11:00 am to 11:00 pm.
- A bowling alley, theater, games room and tennis courts give you options when it rains.
- Free shared airport transfers for stays of 3 nights or more booked on the official site.
What to know before booking
- It's a big resort with 513 suites, and Eden Bay's guests use its facilities too, so it's busy rather than quiet.
- La Locanda and Sakura need advance booking, and some dishes and wines cost extra.
- The spa, diving, motorized water sports and the medical service cost extra.
- The disco and sports bar are 18 and over, so evenings with teens center on the theater and bowling.
- There's nothing to walk to outside the gate; Falmouth is a 10 to 15 minute drive.

Rooms
All 513 rooms are suites. Junior suites come with garden or ocean views; swim-up suites open onto the pool from the terrace; rooftop suites sit on the top floor with a furnished terrace; and master suites add a separate bedroom and bigger terraces. Privilege suites add butler and concierge service, a premium minibar restocked daily, 24-hour room service and Rituals toiletries. There’s also a Junior Suite with access to Ocean Eden Bay’s adults-only areas, a useful option if you’re traveling with a mixed group. H10 says the resort is fully accessible, with adapted rooms. Cribs are free on request.
Food & drink
H10 lists a buffet, Martha’s Market, and nine other places to eat: Red Snapper for seafood, Route 66 for American BBQ, Sugar Cane for Jamaican and Caribbean food, La Locanda (Italian), Sakura (teppanyaki), Thali (Indian), the Jamaican Grill by the beach, Ocean Burger, and a restaurant only for Privilege guests. Most need no reservation; La Locanda and Sakura must be booked ahead. Snacks run 24 hours, and Mike’s Coffee and an ice cream shop are open into the evening. My take: go to the Jamaican Grill at lunch and Sugar Cane one night. A Jamaican menu inside a Spanish-run resort is a good test of the kitchen, and it’s what you’d eat at home.
Pool & beach
The resort is right on the beach at Coral Spring, with sun loungers; Privilege guests get their own beach area. The water is on the main pool with its hydromassage area, a lazy river with waterfalls and floats, and a water park with a family pool. Beach activities and non-motorized water sports are included; snorkeling trips, motorized water sports and the diving center cost extra.
Location
Coral Spring is on the Trelawny coast east of Montego Bay. H10 puts Sangster International Airport about 35 km away, 35 to 45 minutes by road. Falmouth is about 8 km away, and the night boat trips on the Luminous Lagoon and Martha Brae rafting are each around 20 minutes or less. Locals will tell you to do the lagoon on a dark night, away from the full moon, when the glow shows best. Have a walk around Falmouth too, for its Georgian buildings. See where to stay in Montego Bay for the wider area.
