Hotel Riu Reggae
Riu’s adults-only (18+) resort on Mahoe Bay is built around atmosphere and entertainment: three infinity pools with swim-up bars, a 24-hour lobby bar, and free use of Splash Water World and the weekly RIU Party at Riu Montego Bay next door. It’s about 2.7 km from Montego Bay airport, usually under 10 minutes.
- Good: A social scene and the shortest airport transfer.
- But: The water park and RIU Party are next door, and planes fly overhead.

Best for a group of friends
Hotel Riu Montego Bay
A big, adults-only Riu on Mahoe Bay with its own Splash Water World, five pools and the weekly RIU Party, ten to fifteen minutes from the airport. Family rooms of 36 m² work for three or four friends sharing.
- Good: Rooms for friends sharing, and plenty going on.
- But: 826 rooms, built for energy rather than quiet.

Best social, party resort
Hedonism II
Adults only, clothing-optional and lifestyle-friendly, on Seven Mile Beach in Negril. It’s built for open-minded couples and singles who want theme nights, live shows and drinks around the clock.
- Good: The most social atmosphere on this list.
- But: Clothing-optional in most areas (clothes on in the restaurants), so not for everyone.

Best for nightlife on site
Princess Senses The Mangrove
A big, modern adults-only resort at Green Island, Hanover, with the Illusion nightclub, a rooftop bar with an infinity pool and the Blue Note piano bar, plus the restaurants of the family resort next door. Gratuities and Wi-Fi are included.
- Good: A nightclub and rooftop bar without leaving the resort.
- But: It shares the site with a family resort, and nights out in Negril or Montego Bay mean a taxi.

Best for lots to do
Ocean Eden Bay
An adults-only, all-suite resort at Coral Spring, Trelawny, with its own pool and six restaurants, plus full use of next-door Ocean Coral Spring’s lazy river, bowling alley, theater and nightclub. It becomes Ocean Allure Eden Bay on November 1, 2026.
- Good: Bowling, a theater and a nightclub on the doorstep.
- But: Some shared areas are open to under-18s, so you'll see families.

Best calm adults-only stay
Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay
Adults only (18+) and not couples-only, with every room a junior suite for up to three adults and unlimited à la carte dinners. Suits friends traveling together or solo travelers who want a quieter base.
- Good: Adults only without the party.
- But: Runaway Bay is quiet at night; Ocho Rios is the nearest nightlife.

Best for naturists
Grand Lido Negril
A 26-suite, clothing-free enclave beside Royalton Negril for naturist couples and singles 21 and over, with butler service in every suite and strict rules on photography and behavior. Dress, and you can use the 12 restaurants across Grand Lido and the neighboring Royalton resorts.
- Good: Small, private and clearly run.
- But: Minimum age 21, and no phones or cameras at all.
Sandals and Couples aren’t on this list, and that’s their rules, not my opinion: Sandals resorts are adults only and designed for couples, and Couples resorts are reserved for couples. Every resort below is adults-only without a couples rule, so a solo traveler or a group of friends can book. For a social week, the two Riu resorts on Mahoe Bay and Hedonism II in Negril are the lively ones; Bahia Principe Escape is the calm choice. Not open yet
Two resorts built for a social crowd aren’t taking guests yet. Breathless Montego Bay, an adults-only party resort billed for singles, couples and friends, is due back in 2027 with no date announced, and Royalton CHIC Jamaica, Royalton’s party brand, is being built in Runaway Bay and is set to open in summer 2027.

Every resort here has a full guide on this site, researched from the resort’s own information and dated on the page. I only list places that are open: anything closed, reopening later or unconfirmed is left off. I only include resorts whose rules let you book without a partner, which leaves out Sandals and Couples, and I’ve kept this list to all-inclusives. No resort pays to be listed, and I don’t claim meals or stays I haven’t had.
