My local take
Club Ambiance was one of the smaller adults-only hotels on the Runaway Bay strip. In May 2026 The Gleaner reported that the Russell family, who run Deja Resort on the Hip Strip in Montego Bay, had bought the former Ambiance hotel in October 2025 and were pushing to reopen it. Their plan is an adults-only all-inclusive with ocean-view rooms, two beaches, three restaurants, a spa, a gym and a nightclub. The old Club Ambiance website no longer loads, the Jamaica Tourist Board doesn’t list the hotel, and no opening date or new name has been announced.
My take: don’t book it under the old name, and don’t count on it for this winter until the owners announce a date. I’ll update this page when they do.
