Where to stay on the South Coast

The South Coast, mostly in St Elizabeth, is the quietest part of Jamaica for visitors. Treasure Beach has small guest houses and villas in fishing villages, and nearby you’ll find YS Falls, the Black River safari and the Pelican Bar out at sea. It is drier than the north coast and has no big resorts. Plan on around two hours from Montego Bay airport. It suits travelers who want local life and space over nightlife.
