Some Tips for Packing

The list above is in no way a comprehensive one. In fact, you may have thought of a few items I forgot to mention (oops!).  Nevertheless, these are some of the top items people pack when they are coming to Jamaica.

Here are some other useful tips:

  1. Think about the length of your stay. Most people tend to visit the island for a period as short as a week and as long as a month! It’s useful to make a list of everything you’ll need.
  2. Ensure you pack the essentials first (fresh clothes – enough to cover your time here, toiletries – like toothpaste and toothbrush)
  3. Jamaica is warm for most of the year. Temperatures tend to drop only slightly during the winter period. Keep this in mind when packing – no heavy coat needed!
  4. Think about all the adventures you’ll be undertaking and pack what you’ll need. I’ve done my best to highlight some of the important things to carry for each of the attractions I discuss. But hey, don’t be scared to reach out to me with a question. I can help you!
  5. Pack any medications you may need and maybe even a small first-aid kit
  6. Take your gadgets with you. Having your laptop or music player during boring moments or when your taking in some sunshine is a good suggestion

Hope these tips helped you in some way! I look forward to hearing about your journey here.
