We all love a good deal. Whether it be a discount from our favorite store, a special on a pair of movie tickets or a coupon for some percentages off. It’s no different then when it comes to finding the most affordable all-inclusive hotels in Jamaica – we want the best prices.
So let’s take a look at some of the best low-priced hotels that give you quite an amazing vacation experience. You’ll also learn about some of the things you can do to ensure that you get the best deal possible.
First, let’s explore your options:
Royal Decameron Club Caribbean
Located in Runaway Bay, St. Ann, Royal Decameron is a budget-friendly resort that provides fantastic cottage style huts, beach sports, all-inclusive food and drinks, entertainment and more. I had my first all-inclusive hotel experience when I stayed here.
It surely didn’t disappoint. And for that reason, it’s my top recommendation.
Rated as a 3-star resort, club ambiance is another alternative for someone on a tight budget. The reviews are mixed on this one, as some believe the standards have dropped from what it was like a few years back. Regardless of that, however, it’s still an option for you to consider.
Sea Garden Beach Resort
Looking to experience an authentic Jamaican experience? You’ll probably want to check out this resort. They feature rooms with spectacular views, a full range of activities and delicious food from our beautiful island. They also occasionally offer special discounts and deals online to help you shave a few dollars off the price. Be sure to check them out.
I’ll continue to update this list as time passes and I come across cheap all-inclusive locations. Be sure to check back frequently.
Tips for Finding the Cheapest Hotel Deals in Jamaica
Finding the best hotel deals is not as difficult as you may think. There’s a number of things you can do to ensure you always get the best price possible. Below are some of my suggestions and ideas of things you should consider doing.
Sign Up for Deal Sites
One of the first things I encourage people to do is register on deal websites like Gustazos.com.
Here you’ll find restaurants, flower shops, spas, arcades and resorts shooting out special deals of up to 50% off and more monthly. Like myself, you can land some hotel deals by being a subscriber on their e-mail list.
You’d be surprised to know that a lot of people know about them but for those that don’t, here’s how it works:
i) You opt-in to the notification list on their website (it’s 100% FREE)
ii) Every couple of days or so as a new business or resort has a special on offer they will launch it on Gustazos.
You will be notified about this via e-mail and will be able to go ahead and check it out.
iii) You pop onto the website, read the terms of the deal, and if everything is to your satisfaction, you make the purchase.
iv) After purchase, you’ll get the “voucher” and instructions on how you can redeem it.
v) Print it and claim your savings. It’s that simple!
It’s common to find resorts offering low prices during peak seasons or when a new one opens its doors for the first time.
Be sure to grab it as soon as you see it (providing it meets your requirements of course).
They don’t last long.
Call and ask for Local Prices
This may seem obvious, but it’s worth mentioning.
Many hotels tend to have special rates for Jamaicans that you can grab by just calling. The only requirement to lock in at a low-priced local rate is that you have a national ID or passport to prove you’re a citizen.
Join Hotel Loyalty Programs
Perhaps many smaller hotels don’t have this, but the all-inclusive ones most definitely do.
Loyalty programs offer frequent travelers “unique benefits” such as free internet, free stays, free room upgrades and of course, discounts. I recommend you hop on board if you have the opportunity to do so.
Sign Up for Hotel Mailing Lists
I know, we all hate when our inboxes get cluttered by incoming mail. But you’ll love the ones coming from resorts. They tend to notify subscribers first when they have a special deal or promotion up for grabbing.
For example, Sandals Resort often announces special 65% discount savings or holiday specials they have going on. It’s one sure way to sweep up a relaxing stay at a budget price.
That’s pretty much some of my top suggestions for finding the best places at decent prices. As time passes, I’ll be sure to update this list with more information.
